Our goal as your Postpartum Doula is to nurture, educate & support your family. We will provide nonjudgmental, evidence based information and hands on support. It can be quite overwhelming transitioning to home with your new little one. Whether it is your first, second, third or more, it is always an adjustment to get your bearings as a new family. We can help ease you through that delicate time and promote confidence while supporting you physically and emotionally. We welcome, honor, respect and support families created through birth, surrogacy and adoption. Regardless of how your family was formed, we can encourage, educate and assist you in strengthening the skills to help your new family flourish. We provide education on swaddling, bathing, feeding, sleep safety & more. We can lend a helping hand with laundry, organization, tidying up, meal prep & tending to baby or siblings. We allow you to catch up on sleep, take a walk or a shower, or spend some quality time with a sibling. We provide guidance and nonjudgmental support to help nurture and educate you. OVERNIGHT SUPPORT ~ 8-10 hour shifts available with varying start/end times ~ $40.00/hourOur goal is to maximize parents sleep so you have the energy to tackle the day. Sleep challenges & frustrations for new parents are normal – and temporary! We provide FULLY AWAKE care so you can sleep soundly knowing your little one is being cared for. We offer education on breastfeeding, bottle-feeding, swaddling, sleep safety, and more. We can also lend a helping hand with laundry & tidying up the kitchen.
Tracy is the founder and owner of Sweet Dreams Doula. Her extensive 17+ year background working in Pediatrics, Neonatal Intensive Care and Labor & Delivery launched her career as a Postpartum Doula. Tracy's experience and education has set her apart as a highly sought after authority in the field. It is her passion to nurture, support, encourage and educate as a Certified Postpartum Doula, Sleep Coach and Infant Feeding Specialist. Helping new families navigate their first few months brings her immeasurable joy and fulfillment. Tracy is a native of Syracuse, NY. She relocated to the Raleigh area in 2000 and now calls NC home. Tracy and her husband have four children and three grandchildren. In her free time she loves to scoot off for weekend getaways, read, do puzzles, walk her dog, have family game nights, cook big Sunday dinners and volunteer at her church in the children's ministry.
