(This initial 3-hour home visit includes a follow up phone call the next day)

About the service provider

Dip. Early Childhood Education; Dip. Community Welfare Work Cert. IV in Training & Assessment Annabel is the mother of two children and a qualified Early Childhood Educator and Welfare Worker. She has been working and supporting families from different backgrounds, cultures and languages for over 15 years. She has worked in hospital settings as Mothercraft Nurse, in Mother-Baby Units (sleep schools), individual home visiting, Child Care Centres and Kindergartens. She speaks English, Spanish and has fun with Italian! Throughout her different roles, supporting parents and families has always been a passion. Annabel believes that parents are the experts in raising their children; in identifying what is best for them and their families. She believes that nobody knows a baby or a child like his parents. Annabel believes in working in partnership with parents, by encouraging their strengths, listening to their needs and supporting them in discovering and identifying their existing parenting skills. Her experience has shown her that in the most cases, parents are very knowledgeable about what they need to do; they just need that extra support to reassure them that what they are doing is right. That is why, her one on one support, is so effective and positive. It was Annabel’s conversations with parents that inspired her to start Time to Sleep. She strongly believes that combining her knowledge of sleep issues in babies and children with your intimate knowledge of your baby or child, you are on the way to a good night of sleep.
