I have been involved with first aid (predominantly in the sporting arena) for the last 2 decades. I have a strong interest in safety and care and forwarding this information onto others through education. Through my years as a school teacher I have learnt how to impart this knowledge onto others in a fun and interesting way. Becoming a Certified Parentmedic Educator was a way of joining these two passions and qualifications of mine. The Parentmedic Movement was founded by Nataly Tormey, from Melbourne, Australia. It is a global movement that empowers health professionals passionate about empowering families and parents with education to provide their knowledge with the support of a community dedicated to education. All Parentmedic Movement Educators have completed specialised education in Baby & Child First Aid, and participate in regular assessments of knowledge and delivery standards. This is the only program available globally that ensures that educators meet certain standards. All Parentmedic Educators hold current public liability insurance and relevant checks to ensure that they provide safe environments for you and your child. We invite new members to The Parentmedic Movement.
