Welcome to The Parentmedic Movement!
Parentmedic Licensed Educator, Sharon Rootes is delivering this PUBLIC session where you will learn information on children's health, first aid, and safety in a warm and friendly environment. The session aims to help you feel more confident and prepared in handling common childhood health issues and knowing what to do in an emergency.
All Parentmedic Licensed Educators have completed specialised education with The Parentmedic Movement to ensure they are up to date with current recommendations and first aid regulations.
You will learn: - Baby + Child CPR - First Aid for Choking – Burns - Head injuries - Allergies + Anaphylaxis - Fevers + Temperature Management - AND MORE!

About the service provider

Sharon is a Registered Nurse specialising in Paediatrics and Neonatal Intensive Care, a Certified Infant Massage Instructor and a Consultant with Summer Breeze Consultancy, a private business that supports families with a whole range of parenting challenges including transitioning to parenthood, feeding, settling, sleeping and returning to work. The Parentmedic Movement was founded by Nataly Tormey, from Melbourne, Australia. It is a global movement that empowers health professionals passionate about empowering families and parents with education to provide their knowledge with the support of a community dedicated to education. All Parentmedic Movement Ambassadors (aka educators) have completed specialised education in Baby & Child First Aid, and participate in regular assessments of knowledge and delivery standards. This is the only program available globally that ensures that educators meet certain standards. All Parentmedic Licensed Educators hold current public liability insurance and relevant checks to ensure that they provide safe environments for you and your child.
