About the service provider

I am a registered nurse and mumma of a beautiful and very adventurous little boy. As a local nurse working in a busy Emergency Department, when it came to parents bringing their child in, I would so often hear parents saying, 'I wasn't sure if I should come in or not' or 'I don't want to waste your time but I wasn't sure if I should be worried or not.' Most of the time these children were very well and all the parents needed was a little bit of education and reassurance, but occasionally they were very unwell and had the parents been educated about what red flags to look out for they would not have felt the need to question their choice to bring them into the Emergency Department. This is why I became a Parentmedic Ambassador, the opportunity to share my knowledge with my local community, to empower parents to be able to identify the red flags of an unwell child as well and act until help is available if the situation were to arise. I have a local facebook group where members are kept up to date with all things safe sleep, injury prevention and First Aid, feel free to pop over and join to keep up to date https://www.facebook.com/groups/1354772851309130/ The Parentmedic Movement was founded by Nataly Tormey, from Melbourne, Australia. It is a global movement that empowers health professionals passionate about empowering families and parents with education to provide their knowledge with the support of a community dedicated to education. All Parentmedic Movement Ambassadors (aka educators) have completed specialised education in Baby & Child First Aid, and participate in regular assesments of knowledge and delivery standards. This is the only program available globally that ensures that educators meet certain standards. All Parentmedic Ambassadors hold current public liability insurance and relevant checks to ensure that they provide safe environments for you and your child. My Parentmedic Certification number is xxxxx We invite new members to The Parentmedic Movement.
